I have dark spot I have used over several weeks now. It is very light and not greasy at all. This product is safe to use under makeup or use it as sun screen. Pull small amount but I would sag you would consistently use it until you see a change. There is no smell to it it has plant based glycolic and kojic acid. It suppose to improve the skin and appearance. Is good size to carry around. I would say travel size
